What is MKTE?

What are the dates and times for MKTE?

Is MKTE open to the public?

MKTE is not open to the public consumer.
This is a tourism trade event focusing on travel in Africa.  MKTE is only open to travel trade delegates who will need to be vetted and approved in advance and qualify to attend this event.

Where can I view the floorplan for MKTE?

The floorplan for MKTE will be available on the “About Us” tab at the end of September.

Does the venue have Complimentary WI-FI?

The venue will provide complimentary WI-FI to all delegates attending MKTE. The WI-FI password will be made available at the expo.

 

VISITORS

Can I register to attend as a trade visitor?

Yes, you can register to attend as a trade visitor via the website using the online application http://mkte.co.ke/trade-visitors/trade-visitor-application/. We would recommend pre-registration to delay in accessing the venue.

If I am seller will I be able to register as a trade visitor?

If you are a seller you will not be able to register as a trade visitor, you will become a roaming exhibitor. The cost will be US$100 per day or US$300 for a three day pass will have to register as such via the website via the link below

What is the cost to attend as a trade visitor?

Daily visitors: US$50 per day
Three-day show pass: US$100

HOSTED BUYERS

When and how can I register as a hosted buyer to MKTE?

You can register to attend as a hosted buyer online via the website using the following links:

Please note that your applications will undergo vetting and approval by the organisers.

How do I access my Hosted Buyer Zone?

You will be provided with a username and password for your zone in August 2017 where you will have access to the matchmaking diary system and other information relevant to you.  If you have any queries please contact tumi@mkte.co.ke.

How does the matchmaking system work?

It is based on a mutual match making system, allowing both the exhibitors and buyers the opportunity to book appointments with companies they wish to meet with. It allows you to manage your time effectively by viewing, selecting and confirming all your meetings before the start of the exhibition. A video with step by step instructions is available on your Hosted Buyer zone.

Where can I view the floorplan for MKTE?

The floorplan for MKTE is available under the “Exhibitors” & “Hosted Buyer” tabs on the website.

Will there be any catering provided at the expo?

Meals will be provided to hosted buyers in the hosted buyer lounge.

How do I book an exhibition stand at MKTE?

The application forms for Main & Sharing Exhibitors are available on the MKTE website under the “Exhibitor” tab:

Please note that all applications will need to be completed and submitted online via the website for approval and placement by the organisers.

What are the exhibition stand rates for MKTE?

The stand rates are available under the “Exhibitor” tab on the MKTE website.

What is the smallest stand size available to an exhibiting company?

The smallest stand size available is a 3m x 3m = 9 sqm

Can I share a stand with another exhibitor?

Exhibitors may register as a sharing exhibitor if they have identified a partner as a Main Stand Holder.
If you don’t have a Main Stand Holder to share with, please contact the organsiers directly to enquire what alternative arrangements can be made to assist you in finding a partner.

Can I register to visit MKTE as a roaming exhibitor?

Yes, if you are a seller that is attending the show, you will be required to register online as a roaming exhibitor via the following link: http://mkte.co.ke/exhibitors/roaming-exhibitor-application/

What is the cost to attend as a roaming exhibitor?

Daily visitors: US$100 per day
Three-day show pass: US$300

Does a Roaming Exhibitor have access to the matchmaking diary system?

No, Roaming exhibitors will not have access to the matchmaking diary system. Only main and sharing exhibitors will be given access to the matchmaking diary system.

 

How do I access my Exhibitor Zone?
