The TREASURES OF KENYA market, located in the courtyard (Outside exhibition area) will offer visitors at MKTE the opportunity to purchase products created by artisans from Kenya.

This market is managed by Heavenly Treasures Kenya, which is a registered NGO non-profit organization recognized by the Kenya Government. The focus of Heavenly Treasures Kenya is to support the micro enterprise network in Kenya, equipping individuals to become self-sustaining. They are a mission society whose main aim is to support artisans who produce handicrafts through business development, personal development and spiritual nourishment.

The artisan’s products range from wooden bowls, wooden carvings, soapstone, recycled brass jewellery, bead jewelry, aluminum frames, recycled metal animals, batik and oil paintings, tye dye scarves, bracelets, maasai sandals, shukas, djbe drums, kitenge products, jewellery boxes, t-shirts, sisal bags and silver jewellery.

The market will accept cash payments using Kenyan Shillings (KSH) or US dollars (USD), as well as credit card payments. The market will also offer a freight wrapping service for easy transportation.
