The Side Events Programme
The Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) 2026 Side Events Programme brings together industry stakeholders, buyers, exhibitors, media, partners and tourism leaders for a series of curated experiences designed to foster meaningful connections, celebrate Kenya's tourism offering and create opportunities for business, collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Taking place alongside the main exhibition from 6–8 October 2026, the side events complement the Expo theme, “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence: Shaping the Future of Tourism,” while showcasing the people, experiences and partnerships driving the future of tourism.

The Welcome Cocktail will mark the opening of the MKTE 2026 experience, bringing together exhibitors, hosted buyers, speakers and sponsors in a relaxed networking environment.
Designed to encourage connections beyond the exhibition floor, the evening will create an opportunity for delegates to meet, exchange ideas and build relationships.

The Opening Ceremony will officially open MKTE 2026, bringing together tourism leaders, industry stakeholders, partners and delegates to set the tone for the three-day Expo.
